Taste of Hampshire Dinner: Friday 25th April 2008

Celebrating St George's Day, this is a truly English affair with mouth-watering dishes from all over Hampshire. Enjoy a stunning four-course dinner with accompanying wines.

£95 per person including dinner, reception aperitif and wines

Pick your own Pimm's: Friday 16th May 2008

Join us for a delightful cocktail and canapés evening with a cocktail demonstration by the talented Lainston Bar Staff in our very own Kitchen Garden.

You can enjoy a garden tour from our dedicated team of gardeners and pick your own mint from the garden to complete your perfect Pimm's!

Discreetly sheltered in the grounds, the ancient, walled kitchen garden has recently been restored beyond it's former glory. Apart from supplying the hotel's award-winning kitchen with fresh herbs and vegetables, the Kitchen Garden is now a charming location for guests to enjoy contemplative, sweet smelling walks and early evening drinks parties!

£29.50 per person including canapés, cocktails and music

Big Band on the Lawns - Sunday 3rd August

We have only just started selling tickets for this exciting new event at Lainston but they are already proving popular! Enjoy a rousing, toe-tappling performance of Big Band Classics by Duke Ellington, Count Basie and even some Glenn Miller as well as superb vocalists singing music of the Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.

Tickets are from £25 per person including canapés and a glass of champagne on arrival. Accommodation packages available. Doors open at 4.00pm and the concert begins at 5.00pm
