Our Featured wine of this month is Champagne Philipponnat

Since the start of Champagne its popularity has grown and decreased through history, but today champagne is alive and well with its reputation standing higher than ever. Nowhere is this truer than in Mareuil-sur-Ay near Epernay, the home of Champagne Philipponnat.

We are very proud of our association with this great house, whose success has been built on an ability to respect its heritage whilst remaining at the cutting edge of technical innovation.

Philipponnat cuvees are blended in the true Champagne tradition. Their range of seven cuvees covers all occasions from aperitif to dessert, with a variety of subtleties that make them perfect to accompany a wide variety of menu choices, or simply to enjoy on their own.

At the heart of the Phillipponnat portfolio lays the unique Clos des Goisses. An exceptional Grand Cuvee.

It is rightly considered by many to be among the finest of Champagnes.

In a market where too many champagnes are purchased solely on their branding and labelling, Philliponnat are proud of their long heritage and high standards.
